This comment doesn't look like spam, but I'm not sure. Assuming it's not - and Carlos, if it's for real, my sincere apologies - here's what I would recommend: Be3 aware I've not had to code a web site from scratch in a couple of years. Then I used Dreamweaver, and I liked it a lot. This blog doesn't require any setup from me, so I don't worry about display issues - those are for the folks at Wordpress to figure out. That said, back when I was doing web site work, and working a lot with SharePoint, in particular, I found it worked the other way - stuff that looked OK in IE didn't in other browsers because Microsoft was the most guilty of using non-standard web practices. Three years ago, when I was working every day with SharePoint 2007 and 2010, I had no end of grief trying to read SharePoint sites in other browsers. I've not kept up with it to know if they've gotten better - Microsoft should just understand that they lost the browser wars and they had better make their products more compatible. Generally I use Chrome as my default browser. It does a pretty good job. Today the compatibility issue is more with mobile devices reading a site. I plan to try Adobe Muse in the near future to upgrade my business site. Maybe I will document my activities on using it!

Using small words and short sentences with me is always a good idea! :) I'll have to see about the stuff you referenced. The brane stuff is from Lisa Randall's books, Warped Passages and Knocking on Heaven's Door...and I may not have it correct. I'd have to reread it to be sure.

My training is in music education, not the sciences, engineering, or mathematics...but my father was a civil engineer for many years, and I kind of grew up with that mindset and still have some of those interests. It put me at odds with some of my musician friends, of course!

Not sure about gravity leaking from one brane to another, but then I don't know about brane theory. However, there is a little know mathematical theorem that makes things interesting for gravities in n-dimensions. In our universe we have what is called the one over distance squared law (sorry if this sounds basic, but not sure what level of tech you know in which specialism). In n dimensions for n greater than 1, the force of gravity has to proportional to one over the distance to the power n-1 for that universe to exist in a stable configuration...

Not sure whether you can use this... but it's interesting nevertheless...

Well...it's there because somebody trapped it. It was created in the LHC, even though last I read they said none were created in the Higgs search, of if they were, they dissolved right away. If you could trap a micro black hole, and feed it a little, you could maybe have a controllable gravity point source, right? As long as you could control how the gravity "dispersed." I'll have to look into the tachyon idea, though. Thanks!

Then again, in brane theory gravity could be a lot stronger on another brane and just "leaks" into ours, I think. Although finding a way to plausibly access the other brane is most likely even more confusing.

Hello Jeff... why do you need a black hole? Is it there for other story purposes? If not, then tachyons ought to replace your black hole.
Good luck!
